Belt dryers have a wide range of applications and are currently used in pharmaceutical, food, biological, chemical and other fields.
Belt dryer structure:
(1) Single-stage belt dryer: The materials to be dried are evenly distributed on the conveyor belt from the feed end through the feeding device. Conveyor belts are usually made of perforated stainless steel sheets, driven by a motor through a gearbox, and the speed can be adjusted. The dryer cabinet is usually divided into several units to allow independent control of operating parameters and optimized operation. There is an isolation section between the drying sections, where no drying medium circulates.
(2) Multi-stage belt dryer: Multi-stage belt dryer is essentially composed of several single-stage belt dryers connected in series. Its operating principle is the same as that of single-stage belt dryers.
(3) Multi-layer belt dryer: Multi-layer belt dryer is often used in situations where the drying speed requirements are low, the drying time is long, and the process operating conditions can be kept constant during the entire drying process. Partitions are set between layers to organize the directional flow of the drying medium so that the material can be dried evenly. The multi-layer belt dryer occupies less space and has a simple structure. It is widely used for drying grain materials. However, due to the need for multiple loading and unloading operations, it is not suitable for dry materials that are easy to stick to the conveyor belt and materials that are not allowed to break.
